Showing up late, not giving it 100%, thinking there is an easier route because success didn’t come instantly, allowing days to go by with no activity. In the instant gratification world we live in where everything is expected to happen fast it’s important to remember the value of consistent, daily repetition of an action that directly relates to what you are striv...ing for. Whether that’s a weight loss or health goal, a business goal or a personal development goal. It doesn’t happen overnight or with a quick scheme. It takes time, effort and consistency. So the next time you feel like nothing is happening for you and your not seeing results. Ask yourself how consistent have you been with doing what needs to be done EVERY single day! And if you find that you lacked on the consistency (even though you worked really hard on some days) just pick it back up and get obsessed about working on it every day without skipping! Education begins at home! Did you know that only 17 states require a personal finance course to graduate high school?! But even of those that require this 4 of those states are in the bottom 10 states in adult financial literacy! Knowledge without implementation is not power.... Whether a child gets that education or not, if they don’t see a great example of their parents managing their finances and then practice it themselves as an adult then there is a high chance they will not be financially fit! I started a money and business class with my kids and everything we are learning we are putting into action! It’s amazing how much they pick up even at their young age! April is Financial Literacy Month! Take some time this month to learn something about your personal finances AND put it into action! And if you have children get them involved!
