Hey folks, You may have noticed that there are Ash trees down and a few others too at Long Point Park... The Ash trees have been infected by the emerald Ash Borer bug and had to be removed. There is one Ash tree that is being treated near the beach through a direct injection in the attempts to save it from devastation. Patti LaVigne of the Geneseo Town Board is working on obtaining a grant to repopulate the trees at the park with native species trees. She has and is do...ing a lot more that she will show throughout her campaign. Some candidates say that they like and help the park, but we know that Patti is right there (even in our cover photo) actively working to help preserve and maintain the park. If you are a republican in the town of Geneseo and can support her in the Caucus on June 29th 7-9pm for Town Board, please do so.
