Rochester, NY yesterday: What started out as a peaceful protest was derailed into unacceptable and disgusting destruction, rioting, violence, and looting. People used this protest as a reason to destroy our community and steal from uninvolved businesses. Damage to Bausch & Lomb and Key Bank windows, as well as many other establishments was done for the sole purpose of destruction and looting. This was no way to unite for the injustice done to George Floyd. These pictures are from the Rochester Mounted Police. I'm proud of the brave horses with their courageous officers doing their job in these terrifying situations. Thank you to all of the police officers and first responders for keeping Rochester safe.
