Gregory's Barbershop

Today is a very sad day for the Gregory's Barbershop family as we announce the passing of Greg Zorian better known to everyone as Senior. He was surrounded by his loved ones and passed away peacefully at home. He meant so much to so many family members, current and former barbers, and clients. He was always so happy at the shop talking with customers, cutting hair, and giving everyone a history lesson on the barber industry. I have never seen someone so passionate about anything. It was definitely inspiring. I will miss him dearly! As I share this photo of when we started Gregory's over 20 years ago together I am reminded of his famous saying that anyone who knew him heard it many times, "IT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING!!"

Update on Re-Opening: We do not have a date yet. We are waiting on our governor to give the go ahead for phase 2. The photo below is a slide from today's press conference which is new. You can keep up with phase 2 openings here: https://forward.ny.gov/industries-reopening-phase We do not know if all businesses in phase 2 will be open at the same time. We also will have a lot of restrictions placed on us that will be limiting our capacity and traffic flow within the shop as w...ell as mask requirements for barbers and customers. Unfortunately there has been a lot of inaccurate information out there about opening from various news outlets. There are only two ways we will find out: The governor himself will give the all clear at one of his press conferences or when the website listed above states phase 2 is open: We assure you that we are doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe and healthy as we always have. We have no control over the additional limitations and extensive industry guidelines that will be given to us. Thank you for all of your patience and continued support.
