It's #NationalLibraryWeek and today we are giving a shout-out to our friends at Commack Public Library who have been a lifeline for our residents at Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Gurwin Jewish - Fay J. Lindner Residences. Throughout the pandemic, CPL librarians personally delivered books specially selected for our residents, helping to enrich their lives. #librariansrock #librarian

Today we join President-elect Biden, Vice President-elect Harris and Americans across the country on this National Day of Mourning to remember those who have lost their battle with COVID-19. Our hearts go out to them and their families, friends and neighbors, as well as our staff members who grieve their loss. This has been the most challenging period in our history; we pray for comfort, peace and hope that this pandemic will soon be behind us. Please place a candle in the window this evening at 5:30pm and join in a collective moment of silence.
