Hayground School and Camp 29.11.2020

Dear Friends of Hayground, WE ARE CELEBRATING OUR 24TH ANNUAL FEAST OF REMEMBRANCE ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 24 @ 1 PM! In past years this is a huge event and many of our Hayground Alums and Families join us for the meal and the program. Since we can’t gather and celebrate in the same way, we hope many of you will be able to join us for our virtual celebration this year!... The program will include some of the traditions like the Remembrance Wall and the Roll Call of Hayground graduates and will also feature members of the Shinnecock Nation singing and dancing. NOTE: We are updating our contact information so if you have information about other Alums and Friends of Hayground please send along. Topic: The 24th Annual Feast of Remembrance Time: Nov 24, 2020 01:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Join Zoom Meeting https://us04web.zoom.us/j/3094888901 Meeting ID: 309 488 8901 Passcode: school

Students in Julie Fanelli's Class continue to spend time inside and out. The class is in the process of building the first prototypes for the students’ Covid-19 inventions. This is always the point in the process when frustrations arise, either with engineering or technological difficulties, or with expectations vs. reality, and require patience and flexibility. Julie is impressed with the children’s passion for their ideas and ability to see their project through and is looking forward to sharing them with the larger community.
