Holding Steady in Life’s Storms: Today we were reminded that when facing challenges to not fear, but Hold on to God’s hand. We were asked the question: What is your biggest challenge? What ever challenge we face, look to God and do not give up. We are coming out of despair, because God will lead us out! Thank you to our speaker today, Elder Imeh.

Today our Pastor reminded us to press on, not loose hope and grow weary due to difficult circumstances. We were encouraged to keep moving forward, forgetting what was behind, so that we can take hold of all Christ has for us. *The past does not define us. *Let us Keep moving towards the goal that is in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

What Fragrance are you wearing? Today we were reminded to consider our walk with the Lord and how we present ourselves to others as ambassadors to Christ. Is the sweet smell of the Holy Spirit evidencing itself in our lives? Let us be encouraged to abide is Christ and have the fruits of the Spirit show forth in our lives to others. 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life.

Today we were reminded that God is The Father of all Comfort. When we go through the valleys of life, God will provide us comfort. As Christians we are also to look outside of our own needs and provide comfort to others.

Today, we were reminded that often we cry out as the Psalmist David did, How Long, Oh Lord. We may have situations we have been praying about and hoping for a change from God. Even during these times were are reminded to trust in God and His unfailing love. Let us keep our eyes on God and not our circumstances.
