Winter is a wonderful time for birdwatching. When the trees are bare and the woods are silent, it can be easier to hear the familiar kew of a Dark-Eyed Junco or the zreeeeeeet of a Pine Siskin and easier to see them perched upon a branch. For everyone, 2020 has been a challenging year. We are grateful to those of you who were able to visit and to experience the great Adirondacks. The entire team at High Peaks Resort and Lake House looks forward to welcoming you back to renewed traditions and return visits in 2021. In the meantime, please have a safe and joy-filled New Year.
