Funtastic reading is a free early childhood literacy program at the Hunts Point Alliance for Children. Each week, we have a read-aloud, an arts and crafts project, and more! When your child is enrolled in our middle school programs they work with passionate professionals who are still creating for themselves and others everyday. Please help us celebrate Karl Iglesias (@oye414) whose poetry is not only featured in the book The Breakbeat Poets Vol 4: LatiNext but is publishing his debut chapbook Catch a Glow (visit his bio to pre-order your copy!) We also would like to celebrate Stephen Galberth (@stevie.vision) and his company @thelab.artistsofc...olor. Stephen is one of our Shakespeare programs movement directors and has released Its Bigger than Me A film about the Black experience during the pandemic.
