To all our amazing clients ..this text will be coming to you (we apologize if you have to read this long message twice, lol). We wanted to also post it so everyone is aware. As we have been, we continue to follow ALL guidelines, no matter how crazy some seem, to the letter so please be assured we are doing everything in our power to keep us both safe and open! Here is the text you will receive: Hello:) I am looking forward to your appointment but in light of our local news t...hese last couple days we have some concerns. We seem to be on the brink of being shut down again and of course we want to do everything in our power to be safe and prevent that from happening. That being said, we know there are over 3000 people quarantined locally. We know not all that are placed in quarantine are symptomatic and may feel we are safe and they feel fine so why not come. We have a request. If for any reason you have been asked to quarantine, we kindly ask that you cancel your appointment with us. We know this all is confusing, a little scary to some, crazy to others, but as we have all seen it spreads and they blast small businesses locally that have potentially had anyone in that is questionable. We know it may feel like an inconvenience but we promise to not charge any fees for cancelling and we want you all to be safe, healthy, and have a salon to go to that isn’t shut down. Sooo, in typical me fashion I just sent out over 150 texts to the clients I have in my cell phone for a letter explaining new protocols. I forgot to ask for emails which was the point of the text. It’s finally official! We will be phase 2 which I am assuming will begin the beginning of June! I have you all in my books and on an additional list and will be in touch next week! Thank you again for your patience and loyalty, let the craziness begin

So this about sums it up

So finishing up with Jason Garner. Basically, we still do not have a classification in any phase for reopening. Each phase has many sub categories that open and Garner is pushing for us to be under Phase 2. That order needs to come from Cuomo though and has not yet officially.

Just so everyone knows:) I am part of Garners zoom meeting tomorrow so I hope to have some solid answers I just want anyone that goes to a local salon professional to know that many of us have joined together in private Facebook groups to exchange ideas and help each other out. I am so proud to be a part of this amazing industry that is such an important part of everyone's physical and emotional well being. Our industry has been hard hit but please know that we are working ...diligently behind the scenes to ensure everyone's safety. We are coming up with business plans and procedures for the eventual day that we can reopen. We are looking at what other salons and spas are doing across the country and learning from them as they reopen. Jason Garner today said that salon professionals make up the most # of registrations for his upcoming zoom calls. That's amazing. It's just hair- I was there for your graduation. It's just hair- I was there when your parents passed. It's just hair- I was the first person you told you were expecting! It's just hair- I held your hand and cried with you when you experienced your miscarriage. It's just hair- I was there when you didn't like the way you looked. It's just hair- when you got offered your dream job and nobody else knew but me and you! It's just hair- when you met the person of your dreams and they proposed!! It's just hair- when all you wanted in the whole world is a hug from your hair stylist because you knew they'd give it to you with open arms! It's just hair- when you lost your job and didn't know what you were going to do. It's just hair- when you were getting a divorce and just needed to feel better about yourself. It's just hair- when you had a terrible day and looked forward to being able to vent without being judged. It's just hair- when you are about to go on vacation and can't wait to tell me all about it on your next visit. It's just hair- when you bought your very first home. Well, it’s official. We will be shutting down at 8 pm tomorrow night for all of our safety. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. Since someone at our table last night won our basket, they have donated it back to raise more $$ for Europe! Just to let everyone know that may have called- there is something wrong with our telephone line that apparently began in early December unbeknownst to us. We just figured it out when it stopped ringing entirely. We are very sorry to anyone who has tried to contact us and didn’t hear back. I guess it allows you to leave a message and then where the message goes is anyone’s guess. Hello everyone Caitlin here . I would just like to inform you all that that December will be my last month at the salon practicing Massage . I would like to thank all of my wonderful clients who have supported me this past year. I also would like to thank Jessica, Renee and Taylor. It has been a great year working under the same roof as them and they have been very supportive. It was a very difficult decision to leave this wonderful place.
