29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, old school. This week, our files must have been too busy or big; we had to ditch the idea of a "high tech" and try to work our recordings into a watchable presentation. The Holy Spirit was with me today; each technical hiccup became a new opportunity.

A Break with Tradition

Happy Independence! This year our beautiful country will be celebrating 42 years of independence. The season officially began on October 3rd and will end on Nov...ember 4th. Many churches have begun beautifully adorning their sanctuaries with various madras and other local materials. Our more patriotic Members dress in their national wear every Sunday! Some churches will celebrate in grand style on the 25th of October, while some will celebrate on November 1st. Look out for pictures from those upcoming celebrations! 1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
