Wonderful reminders!

I was speaking to my beloved friend, Jackie, who was my doula for my first birth and then trained me to become a doula. I mentioned that this time 13 years ago, I was prodroming. My contractions began 9/6 and Michaela - 13 tomorrow! - was born 9/11. Jackie sent me this text from her journal entry last night. For my clients who know I ask in labor if anything is keeping you from birthing your baby, I learned from the best. Love to my doula, all the mothers, and a special nod to the motherless ones.
