Dear KLIA Members and Friends, We hope this email finds you healthy and safe during this difficult time. The KLIA Board of Directors has met several times this 2020 season and want to provide you with the following updates: 1. Dues & Donations - Thanks to everyone who has paid their 2020 Membership Dues and to all who have made extra donations during this difficult time. Your help is greatly appreciated! 2. Social Nights - Unfortunately, under the current COVID 19 circumstanc...es the Board has determined that we are unable to open for social nights at this time. We are constantly reviewing ways to open for social night and will keep you advised on this matter. Stay tuned! 3. Pulled Pork Sandwiches Take Out ONLY - We are happy to report that Becky & Diane & MaryAnn & Ellen & Neil & Tom & Crew will be able to provide our members with Take Out Only Pulled Pork Sandwiches (with Baked Beans & Coleslaw) next Friday - July 10, 2020. This will be take-out only. Drive up to the KLIA Community Hall - If your last name begins between A & M come between 5 & 6PM - if you last name begins between N & Z come between 6 & 7PM. Dinner is $5 each. Please try to have exact change, wear masks, and meals will be served in take-out containers outside the Community Hall. If this event is popular and well attended we will attempt to have them on a regular basis - stay tuned! 4. Cash Raffle - Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous KLIA Member - we will be having a cash raffle this summer. There will be 3 cash prizes. First Prize is $500, Second Prize is $200 and Third Prize is $100. Tickets are $5 each or $25 for a book of 5. Tickets are being mailed or delivered to all members. All tickets (sold and unsold) should be returned to any Board Member or to the KLIA PO Box 26, Niverville NY 12130 by September 12, 2020. 5. KLIA Yard Sale - We will be having a Yard Sale on July 18, 2020 from 9AM - 2PM at the KLIA Community Hall. This event will be inside and outside. Masks must be worn, hand sanitizer must be used when entering the KLIA Hall. There will be one-way aisles like in the grocery stores. No tables are being rented this year. Donations of items for sale are greatly appreciated. Please contact or call Becky at (352) 817-5264 to arrange for drop off or pick up. You can also contact Diane Ernst or Tom McNay. 6. Take Care of Each Other - PLEASE know that your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated during this time. We are doing the best that we can. Please watch out for each other and take care of each other so that when this pandemic is over we can all gather again as a community and enjoy each other's company!
