So everyone is bored , stressed and sick of living Ground Hog Day , over and over . Social contact is down , kids are bored as well . At times it seems we have run out of movies , read our books and walked miles . I have a great idea for families. Great for just two or great for a family of children who are old enough to really think and analyze . For less than $30 you can get some very brain provoking Jig Saw puzzles from 500-2500 pieces. Everyone can participate , snacking is reduced, stress disappears and everyone works together . One puzzle can keep everyone busy for hours , days and even weeks. Try a small easy one first then move up.

The ALD pediatric symposium has been fantastic. If you haven’t joined there are still 7 more speakers. The problem with this seminar is I am too old at this point to appreciate what I could and should have been doing 20 years ago, but then again what everyone here is doing is swimming upstream against the current , but when we are able make such great differences in the lives of children , their families and Society! the struggle is worth it.

If people continue to ignore social distancing , masking and in general do not understand that when they don’t , they not only placing themselves at risk but everyone they come near. It appears that we are getting close to another shutdown . Unless infected numbers drop. In the event that this occurs, I will remain open for all mothers and newborns needing revision of RtOTs to enable successful breast as well as bottle feeding. This is an emergency treatment , not elective. These restrictive ties need to be fixed with in 90 days or as soon as possible if a secure latch is not able to be achieved
