New Visitation Requirements per New York State Governor Good Afternoon, Thank you all for your patience as we navigate this difficult time. ... We are updating as information is being provided to us on visitation requirements that were issued by Governor Kathy Hochul on January 7th. Starting Wednesday, January 12th, all visitors must wear "surgical"-type masks and must present upon entry to our facility a copy of a COVID negative test taken within 24 hours prior to their visit. Reminder to visitors and families: As we continue to prioritize the health and well-being of our residents and staff, we adhere to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and New York State Department of Health regarding COVID-19 infection prevention. This includes health screenings for all persons who enter the facility, hand hygiene, mandatory face coverings, PPE for our staff, resident and staff testing as required, and separate areas for COVID-19 care, as needed.
