Giving Thanks to all our teachers and mentors. Last year Dr. Kakani got a chance to spend some time with his mentor from 1990s, Dr. Stanley M. Blaugrund, past Chair of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Blaugrund has been an amazing role-model.

COVID-19 For overall good health during this time, please follow these recommendations: NO TESTING NEEDED, unless you have symptoms (usually fever+cough with possible shortness of breath).... 1. Wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your face. 2. Do not shake hands with or hug people; Best is "Namaste" 3. Maintain six feet distance between yourself and others as much as possible. 4. Do not go unless its a must. Stay away from crowds. OK to miss Church/Temple 5. If needed Tylenol ( Also known as Acetaminophen= Paracetamol) is better than Ibuprofen (also known as Advil, Brufen) 6. Drink enough water. 7. Continue to exercise 8. You can take Vitamin C tablet (in moderation, of course). Even better, eat fruits. Most fruits (specially citrus) have enough Vitamin C. 9. Sleep well 10 Laughter is still one of the best medicines. 11. Spend time with Family. Stay in touch with friends.

During this pandemic For safety of our staff and existing patients we are taking the following measures. 1. We will continue to serve our existing patients. As much as possible, we would try to see you by "tele-medicine" visit. Please call the office 516 222 1105 before you come in. We have set up a system of "video-visit"... 2. we are UNABLE to accept NEW patients at this time. To all our friends including our patients: Please be careful during this pandemic. 1. Avoid going to crowded places. Avoid unnecessary travel. 2. Wash hands with soap and water (for 20 seconds) frequently. 3. Avoid Shaking hands. Use "Namaste" in stead. Remember: This too shall pass.
