I love Autumn and I am excited to share some photos from this recent Fall engagement session! Due to Covid...Samantha & Andrew rescheduled their 2020 Halloween wedding to 2021...I was really looking forward to it... However, I did get to spend the day with them anyway taking their engagement photos against gorgeous Fall foliage, the birds of Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge and festive Trick or Treaters ... I know their wedding next year is going to be an epic celebration!

Congratulations to Mana & Alex! Alex hired a pilot to fly over Foster Memorial Beach in Sag Harbor and Mana said, 'YES!" Proposing on the same date as his parents and using their champagne glasses it was an amazing day! Well done Alex!

Congratulations to Nick & Jessica! Nick planned a special trip for his girlfriend Jessica at Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa but Jessica had no idea that Nick was planning to propose marriage. On the shoreline of Gurney's Resort - Jessica said, "Yes!" I love all their reactions and expressions as the surprise proposal unfolds. What an amazing place to become fiancés!... Well done Nick! So grateful to have been a part of their special day. See more

Congratulations to Chris and Nikki! I am so happy to share some previews from this sweet surprise marriage proposal. Chris proposed on the shoreline of the 67 Steps Beach in Greenport.... Nikki said, "Yes!" as Chris wiped away her tears of happiness. Their first sunset as fiancé’s was especially beautiful.

Congratulations to Lance & Ari! Lance proposed and Ari said, "Yes!" I love her joyful reaction! At the end of the evening Lance handed me a card with the sweetest and appreciative note.... Lance gets it: "I want to thank you in advance for making what may be a fleeting moment into an everlasting memory." ~Lance

I am so excited to share this intimate North Fork backyard wedding in Jamesport. Like so many others....this lovely couple had to postpone their wedding celebration plans due to Covid-19. However, they still wanted to get married in 2020.... With their precious 11 month old daughter at their side and some close friends they exchanged wedding vows on the beach in Jamesport. Their daughter even clapped as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife. See first opening frame. It was a beautiful day. Different than they had planned. But so sweet, casual and relaxed. Looking towards the future, their wedding reception will take place when it is safe for their family to fly in from Canada and Norway. Sharing some of my favorites from their special day.

I am so excited to share this Bridgehampton surprise marriage proposal at Beebe Windmill. Marc had a vision to propose marriage to Amanda in front of a windmill in The Hamptons. He searched many windmills and finally found the perfect one in the perfect location to pop the question. Marc’s proposal vision unfolded like a fairytale. Stopping off at the windmill before grabbing lunch he proposed and Amanda said, YES!... I love planning and photographing surprise marriage proposals in a natural manner. And I love all their expressions and affection captured in this moment. Unlike the cliché trends of Instagram, no props were used; leaving Amanda totally shocked and surprised. Congratulations to Vivek & Priya! Priya thought they were visiting Montauk to celebrate their dear friends' wedding Anniversary... Vivek proposed and Priya said, 'YES!"... How gorgeous does her yellow dress look flowing in the breeze on the bluffs of Camp Hero State Park?! The yellow pops against the blue sunny skies as well as mirrors her vivacious personality. When planning a 2020 wedding you have to be built tough. #fordtough Like Marianne & Chris... I was suppose to photograph their engagement session last Fall - but we rescheduled several times due to inclement weather. Then Covid 19 struck and made the wait even longer... Day to day the pandemic news changes and a lot of 2020 couples (and industry vendors) feel hopeful one day and uncertain the next... Marianne and Chris said they will be getting married October 23rd - whether... it remains their original plan or if it has to be a small intimate gathering instead. Excited to share this magical Montauk surprise marriage proposal! Amid all the difficult times we are facing in our world and in our country over these past several months it is uplifting to see love and plans for a happy future. And it feels great to be capturing love stories again....like Christian and Gaylen's...... Christian proposed to his high school sweetheart Gaylen on the bluffs of Camp Hero State Park. The weather vacillated between sun, fog and clouds which made for a romantic atmosphere. Christian had Gaylen’s Grandmother’s stone reset into a breathtaking ring. Gaylen said, Yes! Afterwards, we had a lot of fun taking engagement photos around the iconic Montauk Lighthouse. Sharing some photos from their special day!

I photographed this wedding last month on February 29th. Little did I know that would be the last wedding I would photograph for many months... This was my first Leap Year wedding and this couple has a very special love story that I was honored to capture.... Rebecca & David are both 61 years young and were never married before. They exchanged vows at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Greenport, NY. The bride's bother played bagpipes as they receded their ceremony onto their reception at Brecknock Hall. They danced to The Carpenter’s, We’ve Only Just Begun for their first official dance. A perfect and poignant song choice as they embark on this new chapter as husband and wife. On a side note... I hope and pray that all of my friends/followers and their loved ones are well and safe. Past and present couples, this page would not exist without you. Some of you have had to postpone your weddings and I am especially grateful to remain your photographer. For those who are still undecided...I am here to help you and will do anything I can to accommodate your new date. We will all get through this together and when this is over - your celebration, gathering and hugs will be that much sweeter. Meanwhile, stay home - wash your hands - avoid touching your face and practice social distancing. And let's all respect and appreciate all of the essential workers who are on the frontlines serving us. A little kindness goes a long way. Ashley said, "YES!" Joseph proposed to Ashley at Horton Point Lighthouse. Coincidentally, the Nautical Museum sign added a nice touch of context for this history teacher’s marriage proposal.... I especially loved when Joseph queued up their special song on his cell phone and they share a romantic dance on the porch. Afterwards, we walked down to the shoreline and then stopped by lovely Bedell Cellars in Cutchogue. Joseph made reservations for a private wine tasting after the proposal. I am excited to share Gina & Arman's recent Brooklyn engagement session photographed in Park Slope and Prospect Park The last time I photographed an engagement session in Brooklyn was in 2016 and I really enjoyed the change of scenery. :) Also, Winter is beautiful. The stark trees, winter berries, the softer light, neutral tones and crisp skies. I highly recommend more couples to consider their engagement sessions during this time of year.... Our session started off on the rooftop of Arman’s past apartment with a spectacular view of Freedom Tower. Afterwards we walked through their old neighborhood and haunts, including their favorite coffee shop; Cafe Regular and their old subway station at Grand Army Plaza. Looking forward to working with them again for their Fall wedding at @PellegriniVineyards.

Congratulations to Alexis & Adam who were married last month at Gurney's Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa! There is nothing like an oceanfront wedding as well as the view of the Atlantic Ocean from Gurney's. The sky was filled with dramatic clouds, light and God rays throughout the day which made for a most beautiful backdrop for photos.... From Alexis's stunning tiered ball gown to their first look and portraits on the beach - post ceremony.
