Another big day! Our first in-person (but socially distanced) choir practice in Christ Chapel!

Our friends at the local Windstream office surprised us last week with Farm Fresh shamrock cookies for our residents and goodie bags for our staff. The donations were made as part of their community outreach program. Thank you so much for thinking of us, Windstream!

This month, we awarded Kaitlyn Loverme, RN, as our Employee of the Month! Recognized as a team player and very approachable, Kaitlyn has helped train a lot of the nurses at LHRC during her time with us and is always one of the first people to step in when others need a hand as well (especially during the last year)! One of her nominations read: "She is caring, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond for the residents, the staff, and our unit. She is Wonder Woman!" We're blessed to have this super hero on our team! Congratulations!

One of the last semi-normal events we were able to host for our residents last year was the St. Joseph's Table at Hultquist Place, so it would only be fitting that it be the FIRST semi-normal event we have again in 2021. Chef Carm orchestrated the meal and dessert preparation with Kathy Lynch and Pastor Dan giving the blessings and history of the event. We're blessed to have them and the entire team who put this event together year after year... and especially for Carm's Italian Chocolate Cookies and cannolis! Love!
