Change your habit’s and you change your life. - Jim Rohn O...ne of the main reasons I made the FIT50 what it is, is because of this quote. There is so much truth to it. It all stats with the belief. You have to believe in yourself and your abilities before anyone else will. In order for life to change for you, you have to be willing to change. These are the steps necessary to do so. Once you begin to change your beliefs you will inadvertently begin to see your thoughts change. And when you what you spend your day thinking about changes, what you do will also change. Changing what you do daily changes your habits, which ultimately determine your life. Its not what we do once in awhile, but rather what we do consistently that makes the difference. Everything starts somewhere. You can make excuses or you can make progress, you choose. -@BrianTracy As we get closer to year end, it’s a great time for reflection.... Did you make progress? Or did you make excuses? We can have both though. In a year filled with such adversity, no one would blame us for not hitting our marks. I didn’t hit mine. I can blame Covid. Or I can accept responsibility for not adapting to the changing environment quick enough. I’ll accept responsibility. And while I didn’t hit my marks, I did make progress. And I’ll focus my energies on that. I’ll spend my energy doubling down on what I did right, and seeing what I need to improve on. And all of that leads to progress. You may not have hit your 2020 goals, now is the time to regroup and plan on how you’re going to hit your 2021 goals. Or maybe you exceeded your goals, then noted the time to set the state for how you can make 2021 even better than 2020. Either way now is the time to plan on how you’re going to make progress in 2021 and leave all the excuses from years before in the past where they belong. He reminds me of the innocence we come in to the world with. He reminds me to be grateful for every moment. He reminds me that everything is learned and how important it is to lead by example. He reminds me every day how blessed I am. He reminds me that Everyday is an opportunity to learn, grow and live life to the fullest. The world today can seem dark and gloomy. But everyday I reminded of the beauty and goodness in the world. It still exists. But only if we are looking for it. Because of him I striving everyday to be a better man. A better dad and husband today than I was yesterday.

Make this a priority in your life!! To say that sleep is at a premium would be an understatement. Being the parent of a newborn is an absolutely life-changing amazing experience. ... But like anything else that is worth it in life it usually comes with a sacrifice. And the sacrifice now is good quality sleep. As a fitness professional I harp on this with clients. Having not had an issue sleeping I couldn’t necessarily relate to clients sleep issues. I now understand full well how lack of sleep consistently can affect our mental focus as well as our physical performance. Sleep is when our body repairs itself. It is when our muscles and cells can recover and get ready for battle again. Without adequate sleep there’s inadequate repair, which will then translate into inadequate performance, both mentally and physically. Do you make sleep a priority? You can have what you want!! True story. You can. ... Whatever you want, you can have. But you’ve got to willing to put in the work. It’s that simple. No really it is. It’s just not easy. AT ALL. But anything is possible. Yes it’s cliché, but cliches are true. I always knew I wanted to have my own business, I just didn’t know then what it would look like. After some failures (lessons) I realized it was being a healthy an fitness coach, and opening my own studio. And here I am, a full year open and forced to shut down for six months, I still persevered. And now with my little guy I’m looking to expand, go more online and grow our supplement company @elav8labs. And you too can have whatever it is you want. If you want to gain muscle, you can. If you want to lose weight, you can. If you want to have a different career, you can. If you want to live a healthier lifestyle, you can. But you can’t do it all on your own.
