Join us in wishing company member Laurel Lynch a very happy birthday! Here's how Laurel plans to celebrate this year: "I’m really looking forward to camping in the White Mountains in New Hampshire this week. Fresh spring growth, alpine peaks, and nightly campfires will be the perfect antidote to a pandemic year spent mostly indoors." Frank Finkelstein

Join us in congratulating now-former company member Jammie Walker on his acceptance to Yale Law School! He has also been selected for an SEO Law Fellowship, which will begin this summer. We will miss seeing him on the stage but wish him all the best in this next chapter. "I am humbled by the opportunities that I have been afforded, and exceedingly grateful to all of those who have pushed me to seek the most from those opportunities. MMDG Off the Clock with apprentice Malik Williams. I felt I was stuck in a rut. I had just started working with the company and Mark, then quarantine hit. Yes, I was and am still working with the company and Mark, but it is just not the same over Zoom. About 3 months into quarantine, I had appendicitis and had to get surgery. This meant I was basically bedridden for at least 6 weeks. Both of these, and several other things happening in my life, made me feel like I was no longer myself, no longer in my body. So one day I went outside to an empty cul-de-sac and just moved until I was almost too sore to walk home. It was one of the few times during this whole pandemic I felt like myself again. Today we pause to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and honor his legacy. Dr. King's words and his message of peace and racial justice resonate just as much today as they did over fifty years ago, particularly in light of the continued injustice and violence against Black and Brown people. To honor MLK’s extraordinary life and leadership in the civil rights movement and to keep remembering and learning, we've assembled a list of virtual events from some of our friends and partners.
