What a birthday! Sure, turning 25 is a perfect moment but this was a zombie apocalypse #stpatricksday ! The lucky moments were when my sweet husband brought me to ..not @tiffanyandco but yes to @costco for a diamond necklace but due to the long lines outside and crowded #socialdistancing, he scored me some #toiletpaper instead! Lucky wife, me. The beauty of today was from the words written on this card from my beloved bionic staff, the cake made by my gorgeous brilli...ant funny teenagers, the flowers and lady M and bagels and appetizing from my true friends, and a first time virtual birthday party with my #squad from high school on the phone with wine across many states. Coronavirus update from #nyc is that it will peak in 45 days. My husband was exhausted by the preparations and angst at every level in his hospital in Brooklyn today. Asleep by 8pm. Please don’t panic, prepare for a long slow process, learn how to live with our new normal, move forward with your essentials like healthcare. Don’t judge others. Focus on the kids education. My husband is Chief of Cardiology @suny-downstate-medical-center and is covering the lab for heart attacks this week so his colleague can stay home. We are wearing masks and gloves from the moment we leave our home and will changes these frequently. We really have to continue care for those who need it. My first patient today was an 89 year old man with many skin cancers who needs wound care and just cannot do it alone. My staff is emotionally bionic! Fully gowned up and calling themselves #teamsterile and our office is at 10% essential only capacity. We respectfully ask our federal government to step up to better and clear leadership for the well being of our patients, medical employees, and all small business employers. I love my team like family and if we all need to shut down what will happen? @ Marmur Medical

This week I co-led a women’s wellness retreat at @blackberry.mountain in Knoxville, TN! We went for a hike, had a fireside chat about wellness + @mmskincaregenius, enjoyed the beautiful nature, ate delicious food, and am so inspired by these powerful, successful and revolutionary women!!! Anyone going skiing this weekend? As the proud founder of @mmskincaregenius, I was quoted in today’s Wall Street Journal article regarding the importance of SPF when skiing. As found in the article, wind, sun, cold, heat and dryness at high altitude create the perfect situation for damage.
