Please join us in congratulating our senior dancer, Kayleigh Richmond, on her outstanding achievement for early admission to Barnard! Kayleigh is a role model to our dancers at the school and a true story of perseverance, dedication and hard work. Right before the shutdown, Kayleigh’s dream of dancing at the National Championships and final first place awaiting Open Championship status was achieved! She has spent the entire 2020 year training as if for her dream on the Nati...onal stage and we could not be more proud! In addition, Kayleigh played a key role in establishing online distance learning at the McGough Academy in the early stages of the pandemic. She has continued to support and motivate the beginner and grade level dancers throughout the entire year. You are such a special young woman and the discipline you learned through Irish dance will be a wonderful tool and attribute as you advance to college and beyond.
