It’s that time of year again our helpers go back to being students, and mom & dad go back to being teachers! Starting Wednesday, 9/8, the farmstand will now be open from 3:30-dark during the week, and 8am-dark on weekends.

Bring on fall - we have it all! Other ornamental gourds as well as pie, carving and decorative pumpkins, bales and corn stalks will be coming soon. All prices are listed at our farmstand (corner of W. Henrietta and Brooks Rd.) We still have a wide variety of homegrown pesticide-free produce for sale as well!

Hello to all, and welcome to all of our new followers! We have been quiet on Facebook this summer because we’ve been working hard to grow and bring to you fresh produce that is never treated with pesticides! At the stand currently we have heirloom varieties of sweet corn, fresh slicing tomatoes, garlic, juicy peaches, green peppers, cucumbers and zucchini. We also have fresh flowers, and dried dill & lavender. We have SO MANY squashes & pumpkins that will be put out soon, but message us if you need them before September 1st! As a farm family it’s important for us to be stewards of the land; as parents, we know the importance of giving our kids fresh, wholesome produce. We are so grateful to share our love of farming with you and thankful to earn your business!

Did you know that August is National Dog Month?! We are excited to announce that we are hosting a fundraiser for one of our favorite local groups, Operation Freedom Ride! At our stand (behind the corn) you will find hand painted treat jars for your best four legged friend; 100% of the proceeds from the jars will be given to OFR to help them continue the amazing work they do rescuing dogs (and cats too!) There is a minimum suggested donation of $5/ $8/ $10 based on jar size, but feel free to give more if you can! Envelopes are placed in each jar for your convenience (and you can put them right into the cash box). Thanks for helping us help OFR!

Hurray! Our stand will be opening for business beginning 8/1 at 8am! We have delicious corn (homegrown, non-GMO) ready for you, as well as so many other offerings on the way. We are so excited to serve you this summer!

As we close for the season, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone that helped to make our stand a success this year! We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our love of organic farming with you, and we are already making plans for next year. When handling arrangements, please use caution, as teasel stems are very prickly! (They will be wrapped in paper for your safety)

This weekend’s weather has been simply glorious! We still have delicious sweet corn, flowers and herbs, but our stand is transitioning into fall just like our surroundings. We have everything you need for beautiful fall decorations, from the teeniest mini pumpkins to grand carving pumpkins, gourds, straw bales and cornstalks! As a new school year begins, so does a change in our farm stand hours. Although we love our farm & stand, mom & dad have full-time jobs as teachers, and our farm helpers are once again students. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 9/8, our farm stand will be opening at 3:30pm and will close at dark. We will continue to offer fresh produce, as well as all things fall (pumpkins, gourds, squash, corn stalks, straw & hay bales) until we close for the season in mid-November.
