We have a sunny and beautiful stretch ahead of us, but as the weather turns chilly, Therapists will be adding blankets to their treatment rooms. Reusing blankets from client to client has long been a personal issue for me. Even IF the client never touched the blanket, I touch the client and the blanket. This is why I have always had at least four blankets for my practice. The CDC has advised against any shared use items that cannot be properly disinfected between uses. Blankets fall in this category. I have 4 blankets (soon to be 8) and wash them between uses. This has ALWAYS been my preference.
