On Thursday June 10 2021 shortly after 650 in the morning the Coldenham Fire Department was dispatched for a residential structure fire on Barron Road. The firs...t arriving fire department officer confirmed a working fire with entrapment. While responding car 1 transmitted a second alarm based on the information received from members on scene and the 911 center. Within 10 minutes of the first fire department unit arriving on scene the main body of fire was knocked down and the entrapped were removed from the building. No additional information on the incident will be posted as an investigation is underway by multiple agencies. We would like to thank the Montgomery Fire Department, Air Guard Fire Department, Walden Fire Department, Maybrook Fire Department, Washingtonville Fire Department, City of Newburgh Fire Department, Montgomery EMS, Newburgh EMS, Mobile Life, County EMS and Fire Coordinators, Fire Investigators, and the numerous police agencies who assisted on scene. We would also like to thank Orange Lake and Wallkill Fire Departments for covering us while we operated on scene. See more

Members marched today in the Village of Montgomery Memorial Day parade. Great pictures from Joe Kelly of today’s Memorial Day events. The Montgomery community is very patriotic and it truly showed today. We honor those who serve and remember those who have past away fighting for our freedom.
