To all of my friends out there. Right now we are all going through a terrible time. We have been closed since March 5th. I have been asked by some about my feelings for the future. I have no idea what's going to happen. Right now I'm hoping to be open starting June 1st. I don't if that's going to happen with all of Lake Placid events shut down and perhaps a update on more restrictions. However, if we can reopen, we can do hikers, fishermen etc! What a review!!!! The most wonderful memory There are no words that can really express how this place stole my heart. There is so many wonderful things that I want to say and don't know where to start. First off, Al, the owner of this gem, he is a sweet heart, my child told me that he reminded him of his loving grandfather, he is that amazing. He made us feel right at home. The place, this is a hidden gem, it really is home away from home. Beautiful and cozy rooms (cabin like... feel), clean and well kept, the bonus? Small electric fireplace really adds a nice touch and really warms up the room and believe me it was super cold those days (dec 30-31). It was a really short stay since we only wanted our kids to see snow for the first time, and they had a blast, they played with the snow in a outside seating area near a wonderful fire pit where we were having a blast telling stories while our kids were making a snowman. Another spotlight was Bam Bam the dog of the owners, she stole my heart and my kids loved her. Of course this review wouldn't be complete if I don't say that the location is perfect, right in the middle of a charming small town and near all the fun, 5 mints away from White Face Mountain and 15 mints from Lake Placid! Words can't really express of how blown away we were by this Hotel and their owners. We are already planning our next family visit. Thank you so much for everything Al. See more
