Prepares and submits records and reports indicated, answers verbal and written inquires pertaining to patient care. Under the direction of the Quality Management Coordinator ; collects data, prepares report-written and electronic, monitoring QM outcomes and needs. Primary Responsibility of the Position:... 1. Participates in the upkeep of patient records while identifying patient goals and compliance 2. Performs outreach and follow-up activities 3. Attends in-house medical staff meetings and assures responsibility for professional development 4. Collaborates with others regarding the effectiveness of the quality programs with an ongoing effort towards 5. Investigates quality issues and recommend and participate in actions for remedy 6. Works cooperatively with other staff members for the overall benefit of the MVNHC 7. Provides project management analysis support for quality measurement, reporting and analytics projects 8. Participates in the development of targets for quality, service and efficiency of the organization Education and Experience: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York; Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Knowledge of general nursing theory, practice, methods and techniques involved in the performance of nursing services; Must be familiar with the policies, procedures, and regulations of the Health Center as it relates to nursing services; Ability to plan, organize and make recommendations; Competence in counseling and educating patients. Must have a friendly and professional skills; Excellent patient/customer service skills. Excellent computer skills, MS Word, MS Excel, Email.
