Please be advised that Nassau County Rifle and Pistol Range will be closed on Wednesday December 23rd and will reopen on Saturday December 26th at 9:00 AM due to Maintenance.

The Parks have been busy all day with Rogan and Reece dropping off Toys for Tots and dropping letters to Santa are Bella above and little Logan below... We absolutely love seeing all our little helpers stopping at the Park...

Nassau County Parks Commissioner Eileen Krieb mailing a letter to the North Pole for her Grandson Ziggy so Santa can check his list twice.. You have till December 18th to visit one of our Parks.....

The letters to Santa have been coming in throughout our County Parks...Nathan and Julia stopped by Eisenhower Park and made sure their letters get to the North Pole in time...You have till December 18th to get those Christmas letters in !!!!!!

Admission to Field 6A is free but reservations are required. Please call 516 537-2651 for e-mail [email protected] for reservations and weather updates. Follow directions of parking staff. Capacity will be limited. Field opens at 7:00 PM. Movies begin at dusk (Approx 8:30 PM). Attendees must remain in their cars throughout the movie. Masks must be worn to use the restroom or get food.

Pool facilities at Cantiague Park in Hicksville will be closed this weekend for cleaning due to vandalism, as mandated by NYS’s Department of Health. We anticipate reopening this Monday, August 17. We encourage residents to visit our many other pool facilities located in Wantagh Park, North Woodmere Park, Nickerson Beach, and Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn. We apologize for the inconvenience & look forward to welcoming you back to Cantiague soon.

If you need a place to beat the heat today, we’ve opened cooling centers at Cantiague, North Woodmere and Wantagh Parks. Driving ranges at Eisenhower and Cantiague are open. County Parks and Nickerson Beach are open. All County golf courses and pools are closed.

At 3pm, a shark was spotted at Jones Beach Field 6 5 miles from the County’s Nickerson Beach. We've temporarily closed Nickerson for swimming & to additional visitors. We'll reassess in 1 hour. @NassauCountyPD's air patrol is on alert & will continue to monitor the coast. https://t.co/owgt8np55z

We are excited to announce the Complete Re-Opening of all Nassau County Tennis, Hand-ball, Paddle-ball Courts on Friday June 12th.. Every other net was removed to practice Social Distancing but "All Nets" will be re-Installed on all Tennis Courts.
