New York Dance Festival

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! Dear Friends! We want to wish you a very happy new year, and share some fantastic news!... New York Dance Festival has found a new home and will be moving into the New York Hilton Midtown in 2022! New York Hilton Midtown is the largest hotel in New York City, located in the heart of Manhattan on 6th Ave and occupies the whole block between 52nd and 53rd Streets. It has everything you could dream of as a competition destination, and despite its grandeur, offers a distinctive New York atmosphere and intimacy that became a hallmark of the New York Dance Festival. There will be a slightly different schedule in 2022, with the Camp held on Feb 18-20 (Friday - Sunday) and the competition commencing on Presidents Day Monday, Feb 21 and concluding on Thursday, Feb 24. This change will be only for 2022, and in 2023 we will be back on our regular weekend schedule. We are living through unprecedented times, and are navigating major changes in all of our lives. New York Dance Festival is also entering a new chapter in a brand new location. We are already working on our transition and dreaming up new ways to make NYDF even better. Many things will change, but some will remain the same as always: -Free entry into the ballroom for all competitors for the session they compete in. -World Class International Panels for all categories. -Evening Gala tailored just for you, with gourmet dinner, live band, and entertainment. -Top Junior and Youth events competing in the evening sessions. -Large prize purse for Professionals, Amateurs, and Pro-Ams. -3 Day world-class preparation Camp with some of the leading teachers in the industry. And finally, your organizers, who spend every day thinking about how to give you the best competition experience in the best city in the world!
