A HANDBALL MOMENT... I have done tournaments year after year for players to accomplish their goals of the game of Big Blue Handball... The tournament goal start...s with a lost, then an upset til you a finalist and last but not least a champion... I been in those shoes before and loved it... I've been one of those players who struggled til becoming a champion now called a Legend of the game... But I wasn't just a player... I pushed myself also to be a handball tournament host/promoter... Been hosting tournaments since the 90's... Also realizing I am the promoter who's hosted tournaments the longest of all promoters in Big Blue... Wow that's a very long time doing this non-stop til this day... It actually makes me feel proud that my events also helped many players push themselves to say they been champions of the game called Handball... I definitely appreciate every one of you who made my events happen throughout all these years... Truly glad to have done all these tournaments and seen all you guys push yourselves to levels you didn't think you could achieve... It was a great experience for me watching all you guys step up til you were champions... Thank you mainly to NEW YORK PLAYERS for all the years that I did events out there and you supported my tournaments... Plus thank you to PENNSYLVANIA and CONNECTICUT for always showing some support... And now thank you FLORIDA PLAYERS for supporting these events I do for the game called HANDBALL... You Can Now Be Fined Up To $1,000 For Not Following Social Distancing Regulations In NY The NYPD and other government agencies have been patrolling NYC Parks and streets to warn people if they’re not practicing safe enough social distancing measures (at least six feet apart), and now they will fine people who aren’t listening. Mayor de Blasio had previously authorized the use of fines in parks and playgrounds if needed, in the range of $250-500. But, in a press conference by ...NYS Governor Cuomo today (April 6), he said he was increasing the maximum fine for violations of State social distancing protocols to $1,000. In the conference, he said that with the weather turning warmer, people must resist the desire to go outside. Frankly, there has been a laxness on social distancing, especially over this past weekend, that is just wholly unacceptable, he said. People are dying. People in the healthcare system are exposing themselves every day to tremendous riskIf I can’t convince you to show discipline for yourself, then show discipline for other people. He explained that your irresponsibility could put a burden on all sorts of other people. People, especially in New York City, the level of activity is up, he said, as he pointed to a slide with photos from the weekend that still showed NYC Parks extremely crowded. I understand that the weather is nice, that people have been locked up for a long time, but now is not the time to be lax and it is a mistake. We all have a responsibility, we all have a role in this. We said that from day one, and we have to respect the role that we must play. He also called for local governments to be more aggressive in their enforcement of the social distancing rules. You can see why from these photos and videos from this past weekend on social media: https://secretnyc.co/nyc-fine-people-not-following-social/ #Secretnyc @secret_nyc Bottom Photo - Despite the weather they have torn down the caution tape and continued using the gym equipment in McCarren Park McCarren Park Handball Courts Closed Until Further Noticed

The majority of people who are not social distancing are handball players. Why the hell are you still playing handball right now during pandemic crisis? I mean, take a break. ... You might not care about your own health but you are risking the health of others. I don’t get it for those who stubbornly ignores ‘social distancing’ protocols, thus helping to further spread COVID-19. \ køü-’v-dî-t \ This isn’t about you ... It is about preventing the spread of the virus. Continuing to play is simply selfish. If you have to go out: *PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK* Follow the social distancing rule Take steps to protect yourself Avoid grouping or close contact Workout by yourself If you’re playing handball make it a singles or practice by yourself with gloves It’s not a hard thing to do, be the example by staying home for prevention of the spread from coronavirus to save a life for others. Don’t put your friends and families at risk! Community spread means people have been infected with the virus in an area, including some who are not sure how or where they became infected. Coronavirus Explained Easily: Anonymous player got infected yesterday, but won’t know until 14 days later. That player thinks is healthy and is infecting 10 person per day.... These 10 persons think they are ok, they travel, go out to play and infect 100 persons. These 100 persons think they are healthy and keep infecting 1000 persons. No one knows who is ok or who can infect you. Do you understand why is important to stay at home? Be responsible. Stay in quarantine. Handball, Paddleball, Racquetball, Pickleball & Tennis must help save lives by cooperating social distance. NEW YORK An order requiring most New Yorkers to stay home from work and not gather in groups went into effect Sunday night 3/22/2020 as the state quickly becomes one of the world's biggest coronavirus hot spots.
