After rupturing his Achilles in 2019, David Postman came to Dr. Roth for help. Dr. Roth was able to diagnose his injury and perform a successful surgery, allowing David to make a safe recovery. Check out his full testimonial in the video below! "In July 2019, I was playing basketball and I ruptured my Achilles. The minute it happened, I contacted the New York Sports Medicine Institute right away to be evaluated. Dr. Roth fit me right into his schedule and was able to diagnose... and schedule me for surgery as soon as possible. Dr. Roth was personable and explained all aspects of the surgery. The entire process went great! Unlike other orthopedists, Dr. Roth handles all aspects of the surgical procedure. I can really tell he takes great pride in his work. When I went to post-operative PT, the physical therapists even complimented me that the surgical site was incredible compared to other patients they've seen. I would highly recommend Dr. Neil Roth for all of your orthopedic needs!" - David Postman https://nysportsmedicineinstitute.com/ #NYSMI #NYC #NewYork #WhitePlains #NewJersey #Orthopedist #OrthopedicSurgeon #Ortho #SportsMedicine #Patient #Testimonial #Basketball #Athlete #Injury #Achilles

Cincinnati Bengals' star QB Joe Burrow tweeted "Thanks for all the love. Can't get rid of me that easy. See ya next year." after suffering a season-ending knee injury in the third-quarter of the November 22nd game against the Washinton Football Team. The first overall pick in the 2020 draft tore the ACL in his left knee when he dropped back to pass on a third-and-2 play from his own 10-yard line and a Washington defender fell into his leg. Burrow has been taking big hits all ...year, but has somehow managed to stay healthy despite Cincinnati's offensive line struggling to protect him. He is expected to undergo surgery this week to repair the tear and begin his road to recovery. As always, we are hoping for a safe, quick recovery and successful return for the 2021 season! http://ow.ly/rW4k50CBRVJ #NYSMI #NYC #NewYork #WhitePlains #NewJersey #OrthopedicSurgeon #Ortho #SportsMedicine #JoeBurrow #CincinattiBengals #Bengals #NFL #Football #Injury #Fitness #Athlete #Workout #Health #Wellness

While playing with his dog, Major, President-elect Joe Biden suffered a fracture to his foot after tripping over a rug. According to his doctor, he will need to wear a walking boot for at least a few weeks while the injury heals. Although initial X-rays showed "no obvious fracture," a CT scan conducted afterward confirmed that Biden suffered small hairline fractures of his lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones located in the mid-foot. We are hoping for a safe and quick rec...overy for the President-elect so he can get back to playing with his pups as soon as possible! http://ow.ly/EcZL50CETtr #NYSMI #NYC #NewYork #WhitePlains #NewJersey #SportsMedicine #OrthopedicSurgeon #Orthopedist #Fitness #Health #Wellness #JoeBiden #Biden #Major #Dog

It seems like the hits keep on coming for star Golden State Warriors' guard Klay Thompson. After missing all of last season due to a torn ACL in his left knee during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA finals, Thompson suffered another season-ending injury on Wednesday, November 17th. While working out with several other NBA players, Klay Thompson suffered a torn Achilles tendon in his right leg. After being the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention last season, the Golden S...tate Warriors were looking forward to reuniting with the Splash Brothers (Steph Curry and Klay Thompson) this year and making a deep playoff run. However, the reunion party will now have to wait until the 2021-2022 season. Luckily, Thompson is expected to make a full recovery. The first step in the process will be to surgically repair the torn tendon, followed by months of rehab. After missing two straight seasons, it will be interesting to see what caliber of play Klay Thompson is capable of when he finally makes his long awaited return. Taking into consideration his age and the time he will miss, do you think Thompson will be able to make a successful return? During the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Giants' QB Daniel Jones exited with an apparent hamstring injury. While sources say that they do not expect the injury to be season-ending, the Giants are bracing for Jones to miss some time. MRI results are showing a hamstring strain which can take a few days to heal. We are hoping for a positive prognosis and a safe, quick return to play for Jones and the Giants! http://ow.ly/6OI350CzqKi... #NYSMI #NYC #NewYork #WhitePlains #NewJersey #SportsMedicine #OrthopedicSurgeon #Orthopedist #DanielJones #NewYorkGiants #NFL #Football #Athlete #Injury #Fitness #Health #Wellness

It’s been a season to forget for star Carolina Panthers’ running back Christian McCaffrey. After being sidelined with a high ankle sprain since week 2, McCaffrey returned to the field for his Week 9 matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs only to suffer an apparent shoulder injury in the closing minutes of the game. As of yesterday, McCaffrey missed his third straight game, leaving the Panthers to suffer an upsetting loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Mike Rhule has said ...that McCaffrey's injury is a separation of his right AC Joint, located at the tip of the shoulder where the shoulder blade and collarbone meet. This is not known to be a long-term issue, so we can only hope that McCaffrey will be back in action for the Panthers soon! http://ow.ly/JnwE50Cytsu #NYSMI #NYC #NewYork #WhitePlains #NewJersey #Orthopedist #OrthopedicSurgeon #SportsMedicine #CarolinaPanthers #ChristianMcCaffrey #NFL #Football #Injury #Fitness #Athlete #Workout #Health #Wellness
