Give God Permission. Within our hearts are many rooms. Some of these rooms we're proud of and invite Jesus into without hesitation. Some of these rooms we are... ashamed of and scared to give Jesus permission to enter. Give God permission. Give God the keys to every room of your heart. He respects our freedom and doesn't force his way in. But he never ceases knocking at each door of our heart. He never ceases pursuing all of you. Give God permission. If that's scary, be honest with Jesus in prayer. Ask him for the help in being courageous enough to let him see more and more of you, to heal more and more of you, to redeem more and more of you, to love more and more of you. Give God permission. Specifically, we pray to bless our diocese with men and women who will follow in their footsteps to serve the Church as religious brothers, sisters, priests, and deacons. Lord Jesus Christ, help to hear your call to "Come and See (John 1:39). Fo...r young men and women; that God may give them the gift of understanding to discern their service in the Church, the priesthood, diaconate, or consecrated life; and for the gift of courage to follow His call.
