Dr. Michael Kuzniewski joined NY Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2015 and was promoted to clinical director of our Elmhurst office in 2017. He also provides in-home physical therapy services to patients. Michael enjoys treating a variety of clinical cases but finds his niche in sports therapy and post-surgical rehabilitation. He also has experience in an outpatient orthopedic practice. He is currently pursuing an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) certification to further hi...s physical therapy skills. Nicole Capozzi joined the NY Physical Therapy and Wellness team in 2018. Nicole has a strong passion for helping others and truly loves what she does for work. Marvin joined NY Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2016. He received his bachelors of science at SUNY Cortland where he graduated cum laude in 2016 and graduated from the physical therapy assistant program at Nassau Community College in 2019. Marvin has always wanted to join the medical field ever since he dislocated his patella and tore his meniscus back in high school playing football and going to physical therapy for several years. He has treated patients of all ages ranging... from pediatrics to geriatrics, athletes to non-athletes. Marvin is also an athletic trainer and works with patients at the gym to help them get fit and stay healthy as much as they can. Dr. Kimberly McDonnell joined the team at NY Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2016 and was invited to participate in our leadership program shortly thereafter. She is currently the clinical director of our Bohemia office. Kim obtained her doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, in 2013. Dr. Katherine Hawes received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from NYIT in 2009. She immediately started working in the orthopedic field as well as homecare physical therapy. She began working for NYPT and wellness in September 2015 and has been an integral part of our company. She is also an adjunct professor at NYIT where she teaches first year graduate students in Kinesiology. Jose Gamarra joined the NY Physical Therapy & Wellness team in 2013.
