Originally, this was going to be a surprise announcement. However, due to COVID uncertainty, we need to ask you, our Blue Family, your opinions. We are currently planning an event down in Key Biscayne, Florida (Miami-Dade) for Columbus Day Weekend, October 7th - 11th, 2021. The event would be in celebration of our 5 year anniversary, which would include many fun, family-friendly activities, nightlife events and so much more that you’ve all come to expect from LEO Weekend. The... event would be held at a luxury 4 star hotel, with rooms starting at $199 a night (usually $700 a night). Resort fees would be waived for all attendees which means you get full access to their amazing gym, water toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. Registration fees would remain low as per usual for all attendees and of course we’d fly-in and pay all expenses for families of fallen officers. - Help us make a tough decision. Should we go through with this event, and will you be joining us? See more
Detective John Lombardi of the NYPD was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer which some needed treatments are not covered by insurance. John works with our friend and partner Anthony Botta, husband to Marlene Botta, the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the National Police Wives Association. Whether you can donate a dollar or five hundred dollars, anything and everything would be appreciated. Thanks Blue Family!
It’s been 8 years since Artie was taken from us, but not a day goes by that he isn’t forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with our partners from the Nassau County Police Department and Nassau County PBA. To your mother and sister, we are always here for you and we can’t wait to see you both at all of our 2021 events! A Brother To Us All
