While most of us are staying homes with kids who are out of school, it is important to note that kids need to get daily physical activity for their development and in order to stay healthy. There are many resources available online that can help you enrich your kids' experience at home and help you use their time at home more useful. Cosmic Kids Yoga is a YouTube channel that provides a good variety of themes to make yoga a more enjoyable experience for kids. Give it a try! Also, we are missing watching little ones running around our facility so please feel free to post a short video of your kiddos trying their favorite theme of yoga. Namasté

We have just learned from our local health officials that 8 more cases of COVID-19 were detected in our area. With this unsettling information, we have decided to close down operations until further notice. We will resume operations upon receiving confirmation from health officials that it is safe to do so. In the coming days, our staff will reach out to those who had birthday parties scheduled at our facility to provide them with alternatives. This certainly is a very difficult decision for us. For the past several years we have kept our doors open despite occasional unpredictable weather conditions. Unfortunately, the magnitude and severity of this current pandemic is beyond imagination.

We are going to open very limited spots for a Day Camp service to accommodate families affected by school closures. Due to what's happening around us, we have to implement very strict policies for admission for those who attend. The group size will be very small and supervised. Our facility is getting cleaned and sanitized frequently every day and in accordance with and even exceeding guidelines and recommendations. We have regulated the capacity for our regular admissions to... well below the allowed numbers, even after restrictions were put in place. Details of our Day Camps are as follows: Ages: 3-10 yrs (younger kids need to be toilet trained) Time: 8:30 am- 5:00 pm Daily Fee: $45/day (first child), $25/day (each additional sibling) Weekly Fee (Monday-Friday): $195/week (first child), $105/week (each additional sibling) Location: Ontario Play & Cafe, 1861 Scottsville Rd., Rochester, NY 14623 Activities: crafts, sensory play, arts Lunch and snacks: provided (cheese pizza, organic juice box/milk, cheese crackers/sticks) Dates: every week starting March 16th Registration: https://www.ontarioplay.com/store/c5/Day%2FWeek_camp.html

We are open during our regular business hours this week and the next. We cannot remain ignorant of health related issues that surround our community. To protect health of our visitors, we are taking every sanitation measure as recommended by the CDC and other health organizations. While CDC assesses the risk of the virus to children to be low and similar to a common cold, we do not take our responsibility lightly. Our facility is being cleaned and disinfected using hospital-...grade disinfectants and sanitizers on a frequent basis. While there’s a countrywide shortage of hand sanitizers, we are using our stocked inventory to make them accessible throughout our facility. In case of school shutdown, we will exercise additional precautionary measures to maintain continuity of our services with lowest possible risk to our visitors. Although social play and engagement are necessary to development of young kids, we ask parents to exercise caution in case they observe any symptoms in their kids and to keep them at home until they recover.
