The concerts start next month and we are looking for sponsors to support the 2021 season! Sponsors of any amount help us produce this free community series. The sponsor information is included below. The Lawn is all decked out for the holidays!

We may not have been able to hold the 2020 concert series, but the On the Lawn crew was still hard at work making the concert space even better for next year! We added trees, expanded our overflow seating area where kids play, and added equipment to enhance the concert experience.

As you know, we made the hard decision earlier this year to cancel our 2020 concert series. The Town of Chester is now hosting a series of concerts on Fridays with social distancing in place. While On the Lawn at Sugar Loaf Crossing is not associated with the concerts being held at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center, we are glad to hear music back in our community this summer. We are excited to return to our normal schedule next summer. Stay safe!

Friends, Richard and Susan have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Concert Series due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here is Richard's statement: Dear friends and Neighbors; In considering the next moves on presenting the 2020 On the Lawn concerts.... I have been going over different scenarios of potential problems and interactions among concert goers, staff, and talent during our shows. This includes face coverings, distancing and disinfecting, among others. Example You can’t eat a hot dog or take a drink with a mask on. As I have been going through this process, I have not been able to find a mitigation protocol that would ensure the health and safety of the people involved for any of the possible interactions. Although the governor has not, as of yet, determined if public assemble will be possible this summer, and there is only a very slight chance of him doing so, it would come with a set of requirements, whether stated or implied. It is my responsibility to provide a safe and healthy environment, and it’s a responsibility I do not take lightly. As the promoter of On the Lawn concerts, and Lycian Centre, Ltd., the presenting corporation, I am not able to meet the anticipated requirements. As such have cancelled the 2020 concert series.
