Wonderful first day of school! We are busy getting used to our new normal. It was so nice to see so many smiling eyes!

Our Lady of Providence will reopen 5 days a week for all students. We are continuing update our Reopening plan, which was developed with the guidance of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, along with Perrotta Consulting, an emergency operations planning company. We will strive to meet or exceed all CDC and NYS guidelines to create the safest possible environment for our students and teachers. Our plans are available at www.olprov.org/reopening. You will always find the latest information there. At this time, we have seats available in some grade levels. We are also offering the choice of distance learning for all or part of the year.

Tonight, our 8th Grade Class of 2020 graduated. Although it wasn’t the graduation we expected, we are so proud of all of them and happy to celebrate their effort and hard work. Graduation was presented on Zoom, with Graduates and families, as well as faculty, staff, and pastors, watching together to cheer each other on. #EnrollEducateEvangelize #OLOPStrong #Classof2020
