Here's our 2021 weekend!!!! Click on the pictures here for additional information. Friday, June 18th - Pride Kickoff Party at the Paddock Club in Watertown. ... 5-8pm Food, drink specials, DJ music... great time! Robert does an awesome job starting out Pride weekend. Don't miss this! Saturday, June 19th - Flag raising at city hall at 9am... 3rd annual ... come and show your support...bring the kids. Saturday at noon - color run in Thompson Park. See other posts to sign up ... the signup will be closed off in a couple days. Saturday noon to 3pm is OUT in the PARK... with a beer tent, DJ music, food trucks, and games for the kids. No admission fee, but if you want a drink or food, you pay the vendor. Saturday at 7:30pm - Amber Skyy show at the Fairgrounds Agriculture Building....followed by Fire Magick fire spinning. Saturday at 9:45pm - Fireworks .... set off at the fairgrounds. Sunday, June 20th - Tea Dance at Garland City 3-5pm. Nancy and Colleen do a great job helping us wrap up our pride weekend ! There will be drink specials, and a DJ ... and likely we'll be out on the patio. We also have bars and restaurants that'll offer discounts with the PRIDE PASS ... that list is coming out soon. The Pride Pass is purchase with the PRIDE PACK, which includes a t-shirt, frisbee, tote and water bottle. See our other post for that link to get your gear. Early Voting, 2021 Home/Departments/Elections/Early Voting, 2021 All registered voters who are eligible can vote in person before election day. Early voting will held at the County Office Building, 175 Arsenal St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601. The site is accessible to voters with physical disabilities. PARKING: Available in the county lot behind the building (off Sherman St.). If during the week, please tell the gatekeeper you are here to vote and park in the spaces for visitors.... MASKS: Jefferson County requires all visitors that are medically able to wear a mask do so while inside the County Office Building. If you do not have a mask, the security guard can provide you with one. Early voting will be held on the following dates and times: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, June 14 Noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 15 Noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 16 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 17 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 18 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 19 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 20 Early voting is the same as voting on Election Day. When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot and vote as any other election. There will also be a notice to voter and bill of rights. You may ask an election inspector to explain how to vote, or if you need any assistance. If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day. Votes cast before election day during the early voting period will be canvassed and reported after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Can I still vote by absentee ballot? Yes, If you are out of your home county, or if you live in New York City, are outside of the five boroughs, or if you are permanently or temporarily disabled, ill or are the primary care giver for one or more people who are ill or physically disabled, or a resident of a Veterans Hospital, or detained in jail awaiting Grand Jury action or incarcerated for an offense other than a felony you may apply for an absentee ballot.
