Beginning tomorrow, October 8, there will be restrictions in effect for all zones for a minimum of 14 days. The severity of restrictions will be based on the co...lor of the zone. RED ZONE: Schools are already closed Nonessential businesses will close tomorrow morning Restaurants can offer takeout only Mass gatherings are prohibited Houses of worship limited to 25% capacity, max of 10 people inside ORANGE ZONE Schools will close Thursday, October 8 High risk businesses will close, including gyms Restaurants allowed outdoor dining only, minimum of four people per table Gatherings must be 10 people or less, indoor or outdoor Houses of worship at 33% capacity, max of 25 people inside YELLOW ZONE Schools open but subject to mandatory COVID-19 testing All businesses open but use caution Indoor and outdoor dining permitted, max of 4 people per table Gatherings must be 25 people or less indoor and outdoor Houses of worship allowed at 50% capacity

To Our Loyal Community, Colleagues and Constituents: As many of you know on Saturday October 3rd at approximately 5:30PM while responding to an emergency call.... RPFD was involved in a singular vehicle turnover which resulted in damage to our beloved Truck 4. THANKFULLY Our members who were passengers of the Truck were not seriously injured and came out mostly unscathed with minor cuts and bruises. All members involved are doing very well. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to to our Brothers and Sisters of Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department, Point Breeze Fire Department, Gerritsen Beach Fire Volunteers, West Hamilton Beach Fire Dept., New York City Fire Department (FDNY) NYPD and the Breezy Point Cooperative Field Department especially Kevin Harvey for their professionalism and support during one of our most difficult days. To the Community and Public: Your kind words and prayers did not go unnoticed.
