Ming Cho Lee was a mighty force in our community. In addition to his set design work on over 30 Public Theater productions, he was a consultant on the original renovation of our Astor Place home and designed one of the grids in the Anspacher Theater that still remains to this day. Outside of his design work, he was also an educator, and we know the generations of designers he influenced will carry his legacy forward. He will be greatly missed.
