With great changes also come great opportunities, we are thrilled to introduce our Board re-configuration and our New Board Member appointments: Board Member Tiffany Gibson will take over Cathy’s role as VP of Operations and Merchandise Dani Cunza will continue as VP of Membership Deborah Velez Cardec will continue as our legal advisor ... We are proud to announce new additions to the PMNYC Board, who will help take our Peña to the next level. Each of them are long-standing members and have already helped the Peña selflessly, showing incredible commitment to the group in the hardest of times: Dave Chato Alvarado - our Pichichi award three years in a row - will be helping Dani with membership and member liaison, as well as ensuring Nevito's Legacy carries on. Natalia Baranovskaya will be helping with social media management as well as supporting Tiffany. Deisnel Cárdenas will serve as Treasurer and help with the upcoming Carnet de Penyista program. Marvin Alejandro will continue to run our instagram during and in between meetups. Marvin also wants to contribute to ensure Nevito's legacy of welcoming all new members lives on. Andres Tedesco will continue with his outstanding work as PMNYC FC Team Captain. To our new Board members, welcome on Board and thanks for accepting the Challenge to help this Peña continue to be the home for Madridistas in NYC and to renewing our pledge to make it a better place each year. We’ve had the privilege to have Cathy serve as VP for our Peña for more than 8 years. It is with deep sadness that we announce that Cathy Lojo resigned as VP of PMNYC for personal reasons. As soon as Covid leaves our lives we will have a "Peña Hall of Fame" induction party for Cathy. She will continue to be an active member of our Peña and serve in our Senior Advisor Board. Thank You Cathy for your steadfast dedication to our Peña, your leadership, your passion, and your amazing work in the past 8 years as VP. In those years we have become the largest supporter group in the US, a reference Peña for madridismo at large, a real family and a second home to many madridistas in NYC because of you.
