The weather this week has been remarkable. Today was a bit on the hot side but this weekend should be cooler with a slight chance of thunderstorms. It will be more comfortable to be on the trails this weekend but keep your eyes on the skies. Can anyone guess the shape of the playground here?

Here's another new feature added to Robert G. Wehle State Park. This new little pavilion is a nice area to have a picnic especially when unanticipated inclement weather pops up. There is no fee to use this pavilion and it is available on a first come basis each day from sunrise to sunset.

Snakefoot Trail got a little soggy from the wind we were experiencing this morning. Fortunately, the winds have been subsiding and are expected to subside more this evening. As you can see from these photos, Lake Ontario appeared very furious during this windstorm.
