Artists Unlimited congratulates two of our amazing volunteers that are in the top 10 of the #RBTL Stars of Tomorrow! Coty Perno was a fantastic Cogsworth in our 2016 production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast! And @Delaney Carroll shone as Princess Fiona in the 2019 production of "Shrek the Musical". We wish you both the very best!
We would like to congratulate Kristen Vignare! She will be inducted into National Honor Society and was chosen to advocate on Capital Hill for unified sports and the Special Olympics! Kristen is also an outstanding volunteer for Artists Unlimited. She has volunteered with costumes, backstage and on stage! She is caring, compassionate, talented and we are grateful that she chooses to volunteer with us. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We would not be able to have the success that we do without amazing volunteers like Kristen!

Congrats to Jason King on pursuing your dreams at Monroe Community College! Check out what his mom, Marsha, has to say. "Congratulations and Best Wishes to Jason! Today, he starts a new chapter in life, attending MCC(Monroe Community College) for Graphic Design with the goal of becoming an Animator. He will be able to take his passion for drawing, editing, videos, puppets, the skeletal system and the way all of the joints move, and pursue the very things he becomes invol...ved in almost 24/7. To answer the question, yes, people with Autism can attend college. Autism is a Spectrum ranging from non-verbal to highly intelligent. The important thing is to meet the individual with dignity and respect, where they are at, and encourage them to excel in their interests, gifts, and talents, ranging from simple to complex. Special supports or accommodations may need to be in place, but success is possible. Thanks to Ashley King, who is a Com Hab worker with her brother, thanks to Acces-VR, thanks to the office for disabilities at MCC. So very proud of you Jay!" Here's Jason on stage in our production last year of "Shrek the Musical". Thanks for sharing your talents with us!
