We had so much fun being a part of The Foundation for the Horse’s Virtual Barn Party back in May, that we’ve decided to do it again. We at Rood & Riddle are again proud to support the work of The Foundation. Join us and the American Association of Equine Practitioners and The Foundation for the Horse Thursday, December, 10th at 8 p.m. EST for the Virtual Barn Party for the Horse-December Edition. The Facebook live event celebrates horses and the people who care for them. A few lucky people will even walk away with cool prizes, like autographed guitars from country music stars John Turner and Chris Janson! Veterinary attendees will have a chance to win a free registration to the 2021 AAEP Convention in Nashville. We look forward to "seeing" you at the party!

Congratulations to Saratoga intern Vicky Johnson who was recently chosen as one of three winners of the AAEP student and New Graduate Case Study Competition! Her winning presentation was entitled "Colic Secondary to Intestinal Pythiosis in a Thoroughbred Racehorse". This case was seen at the hospital this summer and was one of Dr. Liz Elzer’s patients. Dr. Elzer was also a contributor to the presentation.
