With the collapse of the creative industry these folks, particularly those with large overheads, continue to take a huge hit. My friend Rebecca @rubybirdstudio and her partner @joshandrus operate a photo and p...roduction studio in Greenpoint Brooklyn. If you’re looking for a gorgeous location for your next shoot, keep them in mind. Rebecca - Owning a small business has never been an easy task, and quarantine has tested the volatility of the photo industry and working artists. We are all working on returning to production safely, but health is a concern. Right now, there is limited production activity, with only essential workers. Clients need assurance. They need more time to produce, and they need a sanitized space and EQ. We need to health screen and make sure ppe is being utilized correctly. Capacity is limited which means we are not able to accommodate productions we could previously. Whatever happens, I have make maintaining public safety my priority.
