Saturday's Bread (Oneonta, NY)

Though we're always looking for a few more volunteers in general, we're especially looking for volunteer drivers to help out with our deliveries on Saturdays around the greater Oneonta area. As the weather gets colder and a bit more inclement, we'd like to share the effort between more people if we can, especially those that have vehicles that can accommodate snowier conditions. All of our drivers need to have a valid license and be ok with driving their own vehicles, donating their time and gas to our effort. For our Delaware County friends

For our Otsego County friends, the next free COVID-19 clinic will be Thursday, Aug 20th from 9AM-Noon at Southside Mall. As with the previous clinics, this is a drive-up testing site for those who are asymptomatic but would like to be tested, and is for Otsego County residents only. Call 607-547-4279 to pre-register.

Another COVID-19 testing site for Otsego County residents will be open 9-12 on Thursday 8/6/20 in Worchester for those that can make it

For our Otsego County friends; if you aren't currently symptomatic, you can visit this test site in Exeter on Friday morning 7/31 from 9-12 to get a free COVID-19 test.

For folks closer to the Albany area, RFB will be hosting a drive-thru pantry tomorrow on 6/11 in Albany Airport's economy lot from 10AM while supplies last.

A longtime volunteer of ours, we congratulate Mike Coccoma on his retirement after decades of service to the state and Otsego County! Judge Coccoma was instrumental in working with us in the Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) program in which many individuals passing through the county court system were given community service opportunities, helping to turn things around and make a positive contribution to the area, developing skills and working with others. Even with all his judicial responsibilities, he's STILL found time for us to help regularly supervise and cook for our guests over the years. We're eternally grateful for his dedication and the difference he's made for our community!

For our friends in the Laurens area: distribution runs from 10AM - Noon Weds 6/10/20. This distribution is meant for those residents in the Laurens, Morris, Gilbertsville Mt. Upton, and Edmeston School Districts.
