BOOZE AND TATTOOS Residents went full rebels on Tuesday by coming down to get complimentary drinks and water tattoos of their choices. It was absolutely hilarious to watch the designs picked by residents and their enthusiasm for getting them put on. Residents were treated to wine and Sam Adams beer. And for all those concerned, they were temporary tattoos ha, ha ,ha. The residents enjoyed the activity as a way to relax and let go of pent up energy from this long pandemic ...we all have had to deal with. As you can see from the photos, they had a fantastic time. The best part was watching some of our more shy residents, turn into complete social butterflies, laughing and enjoying the activity. So for all you grown up children out there who's parents said no tattoos allowed, what they really meant was none for you until they got theirs first! Thank you for all who participated. See more

THE GREAT CHILI CONTEST Residents on this past Saturday were invited to be the judges of who makes the best chili at Prestwick Chase. We had multiple entries that were spicy, some made with ground turkey, some with ground chicken, a pulled pork special and even an unusual General Tso's Chili. Homemade corn bread was served with the samples and was simply delicious. After 2 hours of samplings by residents, there was a virtual tie on first place. Finally two remaining resid...ents came in, sampled all 5 chili flavors and the final vote was cast which broke the tie. The winner for the 2021 Great Chili Cook Off was the CEO of Prestwick Chase, Fred McNeary who entered his own recipe into the contest that he prepared himself. The event was a smashing success with everyone having a great time, sampling great food. Thank you to all who participated.
