Well done to our service team for this WWTP lift station controls upgrade! The main lift station for a college town had its 26-year-old station controller fail. Siewert Equipment was able to rush in all the components from Gorman-Rupp Pumps and update the analog interface and 1994 PLC to a 2020 modular PLC and touchscreen interface. We were also able to add OmniSite, which allows the customer to view pump operations, station levels, calculated flow, and has user-programmable... alarms that will call them in case there are any issues at the pump station. The station was removed from emergency controls and operational on the new PLC the same day we began work! Total of three days to complete all station upgrades.
