Good morning, from our meditation spot in the woods. It's the last Saturday of the regular season for deer, tomorrow being the end. Then 9 days of muzzleloader/late archery. Good luck too those still out, shoot straight, be safe and LIVE-LOVE-HUNT !

In the deer woods it's not always about the hunt. Sometimes the serenity is much needed therapy.

I saw this post for this shirt and I found it an interesting perspective. My personal opinion on it is this. We as hunters are conservationists. Our goal is too each season harvest from a deer herd which ever animal we choose, legally, or which ever presents us the opportunity. In doing so we leave behind more opportunity for the remaining too survive on the food source available. There by keeping it balanced. Managing a state free ranging deer herd for trophy purposes alone d...oes not accomplish this. This shirt could easily say that animal could be lost too predation, disease, starvation or even a collision. To target it as an insult too a hunter for harvesting it, only segregates other hunters. Telling a hunter he cannot shoot that deer specifically due too antler size is like telling a hawk he cant kill a mouse under an inch in diameter. Just my personal take on it. The harvest is too reduce numbers increase health and conserve the herd as a future resource. If one wants too shoot only a big racked buck and another a young spike, their personal choice....as long as its ethical and legal See more

I have forever taught my kids that hunting is in the eyes of the beholder , your harvest is a personal one and the choice of what too harvest is yours. Nobody should ever criticize a hunter for what they choose too shoot. It's their money, their tags, their time and their choice. I am so grateful that they have understood this ,their morals and ethics are those that they choose too build. And nobody else ever has a say in it. Congrats too every hunter everywhere, who ethically and legally harvests any deer. My only wish is that we pass this on too as many newcomers as possible................https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2574350696142538&id=1451444575099828
