Bratislava’s leading city architect and developer Ignatz Feigler, Jr. was born 200 years ago. The Feiglers were architects and builders instrumental in the development of 19th century Pressburg into the modern city of Bratislava. Ignatz Feigler, Jr. designed the Palugyay Palace, current seat of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. The designer plans were in keeping with the historicising neo-renaissance style fashionable at that time.

First Award Memorial Medal of Tree of Peace was granted to Ross P. Marine, Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic to the Midwest USA for noteworthy merit for planting the Tree of Peace in an extremely important place for American and world military history. Fascinating presentation by Silvia Fishbaum, author of Dirty Jewess, on life of renowned artist Ludovit Feld from Slovakia. Feld was deported to Auschwitz in 1944 where, as a person with dwarfism, he was subjected to the experiments of Dr. Josef Mengele, and forced to become Dr. Mengele's personal artist. Declaration - signed today by Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korok and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Washington, DC confirms our commitment to safe technological progress with secure 5G networks. This milestone was later followed by the first ever Strategic Dialogue between Slovakia and the US as established in the Memorandum of Understanding signed today by representatives of Ministerstvo zahraniných vecí a európskych záležitostí SR and U.S. Department of State. The Strategic Dialogue enables us to work even more closely on issues such as security, democracy, rule of law or sharing of prosperity. To cap it all off, this significant step up in our already excellent relations was concluded on a day of the 105th Anniversary of the Cleveland Agreement - the first ever document signed in Cleveland, Ohio in which Slovaks and Czechs stated their desire for their common state.
